How I Fell off a Cliff and Survived

So I fell off a cliff the other day. It certainly wasn’t what I had in mind for a Thursday, but sometimes life throws you curve balls or in this case off a cliff. It was one of those days where you question how such beauty could be brought upon you. Seventy-eight and sunny, the … Continue reading How I Fell off a Cliff and Survived →

Stream of Consciousness, Written at a Stream.

I'm sitting on a rock. The water flows past me, energy runs through me. I feel at home here. We weren't meant to live in four walls. It's a humid day; there was a big storm a couple of nights ago. The water covers the rocks where a woman was sunbathing last week. Something just … Continue reading Stream of Consciousness, Written at a Stream. →

Got the old man out to Texas this week! We caught some action at the Valero Texas open in San Antonio and even snuck in a minor league baseball game.
Random Stat of the Day Volume 17! 😃
Spent some time out at the Barton Creek green belt over the weekend and it was magical. There was a storm the night before and the water was trickling off the rock face in the most glorious manner. I sat on a rock down the way a bit and wrote for a while. Writing in nature is remarkably therapeutic. Follow the link in my bio to read the full post 🙂
Had an amazing time up in the Sierra mountains with the family last week. We went on an incredible hike, led by Jax, who clearly didn’t enjoy himself at all.
Couldn’t have had a better fourth with my buddies. The hardest part about moving to a new city by yourself is the people you leave behind. Can’t wait to see these idiots again soon.
So excited to call this city home 😃
