Poem – The Wiggle Man’s Journey

I love it when spring erupts
and you can breathe through the green
forest fractals drape from the trees
each pattern tells a story
of what is and what's been
a caterpillar climbing
his little string in the wind
he sways but never stops
his mind made up
in a matter of minutes
he's risen six feet high
I'm not sure what he came down for
but he's up in the leaves again
and whatever emptiness was in me
has been filled as a witness
to the wiggle man's journey.
