The Pizza Puzzle

Coyotes on the wall
howl behind a picture of a pizza
I stuck it there
because of the pizza puzzle
sent to me in the mail.

I was going to save it
break it out when I met a girl
and we had a night with nothing to do
but I became so anxious
so consumed
I couldn't produce anything of depth
so I figured
hey
I can do a puzzle
if nothing else.

I was wrong
the pizza puzzle was a task designed
for someone with their wits
or a group with time
so I spent the night
rearranging pieces
rarely putting any together
and that's just the type of day it was.
